Magnitude 4.4 Earthquake in Nepal: Earthquake felt in Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck Nepal on Wednesday afternoon. On the other hand, the shock of the earthquake was felt in Delhi-NCR. According to the received report, the earthquake was felt 69 km away from Jumla in Nepal. According to the National Center of Seismology, the depth of the earthquake was 10 km and it was felt around 1:30 pm.

It is worth noting that Nepal has been experiencing frequent earthquakes for the past few months. Earlier on January 24, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was experienced in Nepal.

Fearful; Orange warning for 10 districts, 11 cm of rain is possible, advised to be careful of western storm

Bhubaneswar: The effect of Kala Baisakhi will continue in Odisha for the next 4 days. By 9 am on Monday morning, thunderstorm and hailstorm with speed of 40 to 50 km per hour may occur in Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh districts. Therefore, orange warning has been issued for the said districts. A yellow warning has been issued due to the possibility of temporary impact on other districts as well.
